Pemaquid Point, for me at
least, is becoming an iconic lighthouse. It's one that fascinates
me to photograph with the myriad of possible compositions from
the stratified rocks below the lighthouse. This is a lighthouse
that I'll go back to again and again to photograph, there's no
doubt about that in my mind.
The photographs on this page
were shot in April 2009 on a trip to New England that included
most of the lighthouses of Lake Champlain that straddles the upstate
New York/Vermont border, some of the lighthouses of southern Maine,
and some new lights for me in Massachusetts.
