After many many years of visiting Bodie Island Lighthouse, I finally managed to arrange a special use permit as a professional photographer to photo document the beautiful 1st order Fresnel lens that is still in it's home, the lantern room, of Bodie Island lighthouse. These images chronicle the climb and the lens.
