The three lighthouses of Canal Park, as seen from the water, present a very different perspective. The north pier light marks the pier itself, while the south pier lights as seen in the banner image above, are a pair of range lights. The purpose of these lights was quite clear in these photos shot from the upper deck of the Keweenaw Star on leaving the Duluth ship canal for Two Harbors.
