Conover Beacon is an old range light no longer in service in Leonardo, New Jersey looking out over the bay. The Conover Beacon was paired with the Chapel Hill light 224 feet above sea level to provide the second half of the range light pair to guide ships through the narrow Chapel Hill channel.
