"Defiant" - Later on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the sky brightened and began to clear. This photograph of a pair of huge waves, one sweeping by the inner light, and another creating a billowing cloud of spray when it hit the end of the St. Joseph north pier brought to mind the title of the little outer light defying Mother Nature.
