"Warming the Sand"

Photograph of Big Red in Holland taken from Holland State Park on the north side of the channel as the sun slowly began to light the sands, creating a pattern of light and shadow in the foregrond. This image was made on a different morning than the one just above... each day, the pattern of light and shadow is as different as the pattern of the footprints in the sand...
