Dawn Breaks at Cana: This dramatic dawn photo is probably my all time favorite sunrise photo of those that I've shot of the Cana Island lighthouse. This shot was taken in June, 2001 when the water levels in Lake Michigan were quite far down, giving all of the quiet pools in the foreground to carry the warm light of the coming dawn.
