Bald Head Island lighthouse is a beautiful place to visit to get away from it all. After about a 20 min ferry ride, you're in a world where there are no cars and the hustle and bustle of the world is left on the mainland. There are wonderful photographic opportunities for water birds along the estuaries on the island.
