Isle Royale Lighthouse, Menagerie Island

The Isle Royale Lighthouse sits on barren Menagerie Island, named for the collection of animals that lived there with the keeper and his family when this was a manned lighthouse. The island is actually several miles south of Isle Royale itself so the name is perhaps a bit of a misnomer. The only lighthouse on Isle Royale proper is the Rock Harbor lighthouse.
