This photo sequence of a big wave breaking over the outer St Joseph north pier light was shot on film on Memorial Day weekend in 2003. That is quite late for a storm of this ferocity. The images were shot a 4 frames/sec using a Nikon F5 and a Nikkor 300 mm f/4 lens.
