Enveloped

Photograph of a wave about to sheath the South Haven south pier lighthouse in a cloud of freezing spray. This photograph was taken from the north pier during a gale in late November 2001. As each wave broke against the south pier, I was pelted with little balls of ice that was the spray freezing in the cold air as the winds blew it across the channel.
