Yep, that's all there is on Gull Island: a skeletal steel tower, rocks, sand, some scrubby vegetation, and the gulls, lots of them! When we cruised by there on the Keweenaw Star last August, the day was overcast to the west which seemed to add to the desolation of tiny Gull Island. Off in the distance to the west you can see the back of another of the Apostle Island, Michigan Island if I remember correctly.
