Last Light. We don't often get colorful sunsets over Lake Michigan in the winter. This day I was fortunate to capture one in the background with the little north pier outer light and pier coated in a very heavy layer of ice from the gale during freezing weather that I photographed two weeks earlier. This shot was taken at a focal length of 600 mm and is presented full frame. The image was shot from atop an ice dune a couple of hundred yards out from the normal shoreline and is shown full frame.
