The 3rd order clamshell Fresnel lens in the lantern room at Split Rock lighted in commemoration of the loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald, November 10, 1975. This photograph was taken with the lens stopped all the way to it's smallest aperture, f/32 to provide the beautiful star centered on the lens. No filters were used!
