From 1900 to 1951, a pair of small lighthouses marked the Cape Vincent breakwater on the St Lawrence River.  In 1951, one of the little breakwater lights was moved from the breakwater to the outskirts of Cape Vincent where it now continues to proudly serve as a landmark for the town.
