The first weekend in February saw a relatively fierce storm sweeping across Lake Michigan from the northwest with 30-40 mph sustained winds and gusts to 45-50 mph. Lots of blowing snow and cold... perfect for driving 10-12 foot waves into the end of St Joseph's north pier as seen in this animation.
